Singer Rickman Manrick has revealed that he may cancel his planned trip to South Africa following growing reports of xenophobic incidents targeting foreign nationals.

“I wanted to go to Cape Town for a vacation so bad but South Africa, you guys need to fix whatever the fk is going on,” he wrote.
Rickman went on to condemn reports of discrimination, particularly those affecting vulnerable groups.
“Who the fk blocks kids from going to school because they are not South Africans and picks out people from public hospitals. This sh*t is crazy,” he added.
His remarks echo sentiments shared by many Africans online who have condemned xenophobia and called for unity across the continent.
