Speaking during a video interview on NBS After 5, the “So Mi Like It” hitmaker shared that the constant tagging from fans during the concert rollout prompted her to make the first move.

“Yes, I think I have DM’ed her before because when they started advertising the show, a lot of people were tagging her as well, so I think I reached out to her and said, ‘Hey my sister, can’t wait to meet you,’” Spice said.

Her remarks confirm that she is not only aware of the Ugandan “songbird,” but has already made a personal connection ahead of her visit.

Spice is scheduled to perform in Kampala on May 9 at the iconic Lugogo Cricket Oval, a venue known for hosting some of the country’s biggest music events.

With the two artists now seemingly in contact, fans are already speculating about a possible collaboration.
