Spice Diana has addressed ongoing questions about why she hasn’t collaborated more with fellow female artists in the country, clarifying that it has nothing to do with personal beef.

Speaking during an appearance on Galaxy TV’s Jikonkone Rewind, the “Siri Regular” hitmaker explained that the issue often comes down to dynamics and communication rather than rivalry.

According to Spice Diana, emotional factors and a lack of strong working relationships can sometimes hinder collaborations between female artists. She noted that, unlike men who tend to act quickly when opportunities arise, women may overthink decisions or take longer to respond.

“For us women, we use emotions in things. When men want something, they approach you directly, and even if you reach out to a man for a song, they respond immediately,” she said. “But for us, we start thinking about it, and sometimes we are slow. You need someone to push you a lot.”

She added that without a supportive team encouraging both sides, potential collaborations can easily fall through. In many cases, the same challenges affecting one artist may also be affecting the other, leading to missed opportunities.

Spice Diana also dismissed claims that competition is the root cause of the disconnect, suggesting instead that those who perceive beef may simply be insecure.

“Women who think there’s beef are probably afraid of competition,” she stated.

On the topic of going international, the singer emphasized that success beyond borders is not solely based on effort or investment, but also requires an element of luck.

“Some artists aren’t meant to go international. Some are for local audiences, while others get the luck and go global,” she explained.
