Singer Victor Ruz has opened up about the deeply personal struggles that forced him to step away from music at the height of his career, revealing a period marked by overwhelming pressure and self-reflection.
Speaking candidly, Victor Ruz described how both personal and professional demands became too heavy to handle, pushing him to a breaking point. He noted that, like any other career, there are moments of success followed by periods of emotional and mental strain.
“There comes a time, just like in any other business, when it is your time to shine and there is also a moment when you break down,” he explained.
The singer highlighted how such breaking points often lead many people down destructive paths, including substance abuse or rehabilitation. However, for him, the experience became a turning point that led to a different decision—one rooted in faith and self-discovery.
Faced with mounting challenges, Victor Ruz said he chose to step back from everything and dedicate his life to Christ. He emphasized that the decision was not impulsive but rather a deliberate move to regain clarity and purpose.
“Everything was on me. I decided to give my life to Christ because I was going through so many problems,” he said.
Known for taking a more reflective approach to life, the artist explained that he prefers to pause and analyze situations rather than react immediately. This mindset, he says, played a key role in his decision to take a break from the spotlight.
“Some people solve problems by stepping into them immediately, while others step back and analyze the situation. I am that kind of person. I do not react immediately. I take my time,” he added.
During his time away, Victor Ruz focused on rediscovering himself and understanding the root of his struggles, a process he believes was necessary before making any return to music.
