Controversial Ugandan singer Alien Skin has issued a dramatic 24-hour ultimatum to the people of Busoga, telling them to choose between “peace or war” while making bold claims about his influence.
In a series of remarks that have since gone viral, Alien Skin declared that he considers himself more prominent than the entire Busoga region, even going as far as comparing his status to that of the President.
“I’m a celebrity than the entire Busoga region. I’m on the level of being the President. So they should handle me with care before I become the President,” he said.
The singer went on to issue a chilling warning, claiming that if tensions escalate, he would not hesitate to take further action against the region.
“I have given them one last chance to think about it. I give them a 24-hour ultimatum, and if they want chaos, I start immediately,” he added.
Alien Skin also referenced ongoing disagreements, suggesting he had initially chosen to “chill” the situation and focus on his separate issues with the military, but warned that Busoga could be added to his list of conflicts if matters are not resolved.
His statements come amid growing pressure from leaders and legislators in Busoga, who have reportedly demanded that he apologizes for what they describe as repeated acts of disrespect toward the region and its cultural leadership, including the Kyabazinga of Busoga.
